Greetings! I just wanted to express my joy at a wonderful night on Friday 26th! I went to a presentation by 'Free Spirit Gypsy Tribal'- it was the first time I'd ever seen them perform, and man did I have a good time!!
I just wanted to thank the girls- Free Spirit, The Bollywood Sapphires, and The Spirit Sisters- I had an AWESOME time! I loved it!! And I've seen Alma dance Tamrahenna a few times, but as usual- she was awesome!
It was well worth going out in the cold crappy night for! I video'd some of it (not very well - I'm still getting used to the camera!) for my poor husband, who had to go lay down in the car halfway through- as he was in dental agony- and was very upset that he missed the second half!
I had a ball- and I intend on seeing about some classes for myself!! You guys were just wonderful! Thankyou for a wonderful night!!

Re: Tribal Tripping!
Sun, October 28, 2007 - 4:41 PMHi Amara,
Thank you so much!!
We had a fabulous time and can't believe how the night flew by quite so fast. I'm totally looking forward to seeing the video that Ayesha's hubby took of the evening, cos I missed out on seeing the Bombay Sapphires and Janet's solo as I was out the back madly changing costumes etc.
I LOVE dancing with Free Spirit Gypsy Tribal - they are such an awesome group of women - so talented and such fun!! :)
I was a bit nervous about doing my first solo... it shot by in a nanosecond (or so it seemed to me). ... but I really LOVED it! And the crowd were awesome.
I reckon we surprised everyone with Acca Dacca too! *grin*
Yaay for Tribal Tripping - it's part of our fundraising efforts to go to the Tribal Trance Festival in Sydney next year. Oooh... and we'll be having a big Bellydance Bazaar at the Freo Town Hall on Sunday the 13th January too, so watch out for more info about that!!!
Thanks and Happy dancing, Anne / Annabella

Your solo was wonderful! It was awesome fun even for me- I had some young women ask me about the roots of bellydance, and how to zaghareet! I have never zaghareeted in public before- and I surprised myself at how loud I was!
I was sitting- well standing! - to the right of the stage (when looking directly at it). Near one of your dancers families *smile*
You were all so beautiful- there were several times I was sssssooo wrapped up in what was happening- that I forgot to video! It was awesome- and as a big chick- I was mightily impressed with all your big beautiful bellydancers!
And everyone could see how much you all were enjoying yourselves....and I LOVED ACDC!! I have bandied around doing something similar for aaggeeesss- it was awesome! Such a great end to the night! The whole thing was just wonderful- and I agree- it went by ssssooooo fast!
What more can I say? I loved it, and I will be dropping by sometime soon! *grin*
